 American Cruise Lines is seeking Licensed Launch Operators aboard its growing fleet of small cruise ships. Launch Operators will be responsible for tendering passengers ashore when at anchor, in addition to all other deckhand duties. Each launch carries between 30 and 38 passengers and is stowed aboard the cruiseship. This position is ideal for individuals with at least a 25 ton USCG license who are seeking to gain experience at sea and increase their license tonnage. In addition to operating the launch, individuals in this position will spend time on the cruise ship bridge. Each cruise ship carries between 100 and 185 passengers on 7 to 14 night cruises operating in unique areas around the country. This is a temporary 16-week position with further growth potential following your first 16 weeks.
