The Cruise Ship Dock Scheduling and Deployment Coordinator is responsible for planning and making docking reservations for twelve ships visiting more than 120 ports throughout the United States. The Coordinator typically is making docking reservations two to three years in advance. The Dock Scheduling and Deployment Coordinator is responsible for communicating with and building lasting relationships with port facility managers, dock masters, chambers of commerce, and tourism committees. The Coordinator will be assertive and is required to meet critical port planning deadlines. This position may require some travel to American Cruise Lines Vessels and ports. This position reports to a Marine Operations Director and works closely with the Marketing Department. The position is based in Guilford, CT.

The American Cruise Lines assistant owner’s representative will be working from the new construction shipyard, Chesapeake Shipbuilding, located in Salisbury, MD. The owner’s representative will report directly to ACL’s Director of Engineering.
American Cruise Lines is currently seeking a Maritime Simulator Operator to train our shipboard maritime employees at our new Training Center located in Guilford. We utilize a Transas Marine Navigation Simulator in the training and evaluation of all our maritime positions. This position will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Training and Education.
American Cruise Lines offers over 30 unique 7 to 14 night itineraries that travel along the inland and coastal waterways of the East Coast, Pacific Northwest and Mississippi River. Each ship carries between 100 and 200 passengers under a US flag. Most ships are licensed under Subchapter K of USCG regulation. Each ship is equipped with the latest safety, navigation, and communications systems. American Cruise Lines currently has 10 ships in service and 3 under construction.

The Manager, Guest Programs is a leadership position responsible for supervising and training the shipboard Cruise Directors, Excursion Directors, Guest Speakers, Guest Instructors and Entertainers. The Manager, Guest Programs is responsible for implementing enrichment and entertainment programs developed and approved by the Home Office. The Manager, Guest Programs will hold employees, speakers, instructors, entertainers and others accountable to approved company and brand standards. The position’s primary duties will require frequent travel to all of the American Cruise Lines’ ships.

American Cruise Lines, the world’s leading ship cruise line, is seeking an experienced Hotel Director to manage the onboard hotel services and personnel aboard our expanding fleet of riverboats and cruise ships. The Hotel Director is a senior level, shore-side manager and is directly responsible for the performance of onboard Hotel Managers and all shipboard hotel and food service departments.
Key responsibilities include management of all hotel services including housekeeping, restaurant operations, passenger satisfaction and quality control. This position may be based at the American Cruise Lines’ home office in Guilford, CT or remotely in the Pacific NorthWest or New Orleans, LA. The Hotel Director will enjoy frequent travel to the Company’s fleet of riverboats and ships to supervise and train shipboard managers and ensure the guests are enjoying a perfect cruise.
