     Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for all warehouse and distribution operations for our West Coast vessels, which includes, but is not limited to, all receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, delivering, inventory control, safety, security, maintenance, and equipment care.  This position reports to the Hotel Director.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing the warehouse operations processes associated with Receiving, Put-away, Inventory Control, Picking, Shipping, and Delivering.
    • Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations; maintains and coordinates all areas of warehouse security.
    • Ensure accuracy, inspection, and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
    • Ensures that warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
    • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends, as needed, in order to meet service requirements.
    • Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory levels of all hotel items necessary for the vessels.
    • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Accounting.
    • Manage all shipping and receiving records, handle questions or concerns of shipping shortages, overages or missed-picks, and resolve with Hotel Directors.
    • Must be willing and able to operate forklifts and be engaged in tactical warehouse operations (for example, receiving, put-away, staging).
    • Meet or exceed established goals relative to on-time delivery, shipping and inventory accuracy.
    • Must be willing to drive up to 5 hours to deliver inventory to the various vessels as assigned.
    • Performs related duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 4 yr. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 5 years management experience in distribution, logistics, business or manufacturing environment in lieu of degree.
    • Strong leadership, communication, customer service, inter-personal and financial planning skills.
    • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail.
    • High level of reliability and dependability.
    • Must be able to learn multiple concepts quickly and multi task on a regular basis.
    • Must be able to speak English clearly.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred.
    • Valid driver license required.
    • This job operates in a warehouse environment.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at times may be necessary.
    • Requires standing, bending, sitting, repetitive use hands.
