    American Cruise Lines is growing its in-house marketing department with quantitative people that are willing to work in a cross-functional environment. As the BI Tableau Developer you will be responsible for building visualizations that help our marketing, sales, and operations teams answer complex questions and evaluate performance. This role reports to our Director of Database & Analytics and will be focused on establishing visualization standards, creating and maintaining reports, and ensuring KPI accuracy. The impact of your actions will be seen through cost savings and a greater corporate knowledge of the data that drives our decisions. The position requires FT presence in our Guilford, CT office. Corp-to-Corp will not be considered.

    Responsibilities

    • Capture business requirements and translate them into technical report requirements.
    • Develop visualizations
    • Evaluate, tune, and deliver performant reporting across multiple platforms
    • Ensure accuracy against defined KPIs
    • Maintain reports amidst a dynamically changing landscape

    Qualifications

    • FT onsite in our Guilford, CT office. No corp-to-corp.
    • Minimum 2-years experience creating visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and HTML 5.
    • Considerable knowledge of T-SQL and writing complex queries for data visualization.
    • Strong understanding of multidimensional data.
    • Experience capturing and translating Business Requirements into technical solutions.
    • Experience working in an agile development environment.
    • Familiar with data modeling and normalization.
    • Familiar leveraging stored procedures and functions within a DW environment.
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
    • Tableau certification a plus.
    • Tableau server maintenance a plus.
    • SSRS reporting experience a plus.
