American Cruise Lines is seeking a detail oriented Controller who will thrive in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment.
The Controller is responsible for management and oversight of all day-to-day accounting functions including AR, AP, PR and GL, account analysis and reconciliation, and monthly/quarterly close. Supervision of a six member staff in Connecticut and one in Salisbury, Maryland (with monthly site visits). Responsibility for benefits administration (health insurance and 401(k)) and certain administrative functions such as control of the credit card program. Participation in financial statement preparation, consolidation and the annual audit/ tax process. Preparation of various tax, insurance and regulatory filings. Coordination and oversight of process improvements.
Public accounting background
8-10 years of experience including supervisory experience
Outstanding excel skills
Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft GP experience is a plus)
